David and Bathsheba: Bathsheba bathing -- David, wearing hat and mantle trimmed with vair, his hands clasped, stands in porch below pitched roof supported by two columns, with brick wall. He looks toward Bathsheba, nude, in pool with fountain, surrounded by fence. Of two veiled women attendants, one stands inside fence, near pool; the other stands outside fence, back turned, in field of flowers.
