Bust of bishop wearing miter enclosed in initial A decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; in upper left margin, monk (?) wearing hood, kneeling on one knee, holding open book with extended right hand, resting left hand on left knee, looking upward away from the book. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on Tuesday (Rogation Day) following fifth Sunday after Easter.
