Within initial A, man, wearing hat, kneeling, with joined hands raised, beneath cloudy and rayed arc of Heaven, from which emerges bust of God, nimbed. Decorated initial for Fourth Saturday in Quadragesima before Palm Sunday. Initials D enclosing heads of men, wearing hats. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, inhabited by bust of man, wearing hat, amid foliage, flanked above and below by prophets, wearing hats, one wearing with purse tied to belt, both holding scrolls inscribed NO(N) E(ST) HOC and CU(M)QUE P(ERVENISSET); another bust of man amid foliage (lower).
