Back-turned bust of man (?) enclosed in initial Q. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; in left margin, upside-down tonsured cleric, possibly bishop, feet on foliage curl of the initial, left hand extended toward upside-down miter in lower left margin. Pen flourished initials. Text is seventh lesson, third nocturn of Matins for Ascension Day, Thursday following fifth Sunday after Easter.
