Sabas of Jerusalem: Scene, Robbers encountering Lions -- At left, among three men, two wearing helmets and one hearing headgear, all hold spears and shields and have swords or daggers tied to waists, and approach three lions, the foremost with open jaws, one looking back toward Sabas of Jerusalem, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, with both hands on tau-staff, seated in arched opening of cave.
