Month, Occupation: July -- In first field, two men mow hay with scythes. To left, two yoked horses graze. Behind them, man extends hay on pitchfork toward man on top of haystack. Ladder leans against stack. To right, woman carries basket on her head and flagon toward men.
In background, within second field, woman gathers mown hay into haystacks. Beyond field, horseman and man following horse pulling cart ascend road leading to windmill at top of hill. Buildings of city visible in the distance.
