Virgin Mary: Visitation -- Virgin Mary, rays as nimbus, veiled, raises left hand and with right hand indicates abdomen of Elizabeth, nimbed, wearing hood and veil with wimple. She extends left hand to abdomen of Mary. Dog, wearing collar, is at their feet. In background, peacock walks in front of large house with chimney. Man, probably Zacharias, wearing hat, with white beard, stands at half-door in the house.
Scene in landscape with trees, one barren, stream and hills in distance.
Margins decorated with border of flowers, including dianthus growing from pot, and columbine.
