Legend, Trojan War: Greeks landing in Troy -- Ship with sail carries seven soldiers, all wearing helmets or hats, among them two hold spears, one holds halberd and one holds weapon, possibly double-edged axe and shield, land on shore of Troy, on which stands three soldiers, wearing hats or helmets, one holds spear, one holds arrow and shield, and one holds weapon, possibly mace. In background, city wall of Troy and two ships on water. Figures painted in grisaille. Margins decorated with floreate and foliate border above and below right column, miniature within gold frame.
