Upper half: Moses: Departure from Egypt -- Israelites, including men wearing hats, one with infant in basket on frame (papoose carrier) on his back, another holding rod over bridled donkey (ass) with two infants in two baskets (pannier) on its back; two men wearing conical hats; women, veiled with wimples; man wearing cap, sack over right shoulder, astride bridled donkey; all entering city gate. Above all, DIE IUDEN DURCH BART (?). From chapter 12 of Exodus. Moses: crossing Red Sea -- Soldier astride horse, emerging from city gate behind other soldiers, three with with bannered spears, falling with horses into water streaked with red. Below, WIE KUNICH PFARO UND SEIN H(AIDEN) ERTRANK(EN). At right, Israelites, including woman, veiled with wimple carrying nude (?) child on back, and three men, one wearing conical hat, another wearing hat, all next to Red Sea. Scene inscribed DIE IUDEN DURCH BART (?). From chapter Lower half: Moses: Miracle of Manna -- Half-figure of Christ-Logos, crossed nimbus, emerging from dark cloud, hands extended, right hand blessing. Below, eight of nine men looking up, one with joined hands raised, one raising right hand, two raising hands with manna, one collecting manna with garment. In foreground, man bending over, holding manna with right hand, basket with left. Scene inscribed DAS HIMELPRET MANNA. From chapter 16 of Exodus. Moses: communicating with God and Moses: smiting Rock -- Bust of Christ-Logos, crossed nimbus, extending right hand in blessing with inscription MOISES SLUG, above Moses, holding rod with right hand, looking upward. Before Moses, stream of water running out of rocky outcrop flanked by six men, three raising vessels to mouths, one filling vessel, one drinking from the stream, one wearing conical hat looking on.
