Gideon: Fleece -- Gideon, wearing helmet, armor and mail, with joined hands raised, holding (?) bannered spear, kneels facing fleece above which is cloud from which rain falls.
Scene caption, (U)ELLUS GEDEONIS REPLETUM EST RORE CELI TERRA SICCA REMANENTE, is inscribed in upper margin.
Right column:
Rebecca: sought in Marriage -- Rebecca, with both hands, lifts pitcher to mouth of Eleazer, touching the pitcher with left hand and grasping staff with right hand. Behind Rebecca is wellhead on which is bucket.
Scene caption, REBECCA DEDIT POT(UM) ELIEZER SERUO ABRAHE, is inscribed in upper margin.
