Miniature:
Jean Froissart: Chroniques, Book I, Chapter 184 -- Peasants of Jacquerie, in armor, are slain by French soldiers, emerging from tents. One soldier attacks with sword, the others with spears.
Text describes battle of Meaux, in which Earl of Foix and Captal of Buch defeat the Jacquerie in June, 1358.
