Wheel diagram, known as the Sphere of Petosiris (or De divinatione mortis et vitae), with Latin and Greek inscriptions, comprised of three concentric circles and four smaller circles at the four cardinal points of the circle. In the center is a cross with foliate ornament.

Nechepso, crowned, bearded, seated on bench, gestures towards Petosiris, seated on bench, writing on scroll inscribed DULCIS AMOR TU ET PERCIPE DEXTERA PRE. He writes with quill and holds inkhorn in left hand.
