David: communicating with God -- Flanked by harp and hat with crown, David, gesturing with both hands, wearing knotted sash, kneels, looking up toward half figure of God, nimbed, wearing hat or tiara, raising right hand, emerging from cloud amid rays.
Scene on bank of stream with wattle fence bordering one side; bridge, on which is bench (?), over stream to city; block and tackle on facade of building; two punts in the stream.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
