Evangelist Luke, nimbed, is seated on throne with attached desk. He is holding quill in right hand; hanging over edge of desk are inkpot (?), and weight (?). At left, evangelist symbol, ox, winged, stands beside scroll inscribed SANCTE LUCAS. Background is gold filigree on red.
Margins decorated with border of foliate ornament.
