Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, with joined hands, is flanked by four angels, nimbed, extending their hands to her cloak. Bust of God, nimbed, wearing triple crowned tiara, raising right hand in gesture of blessing, holding globe with left hand, appears in arc of Heaven above Mary.
Margins decorated with checkerboard, some squares enclosing floreate ornament including bellflower, rose and thistle, and other squares inhabited by bird and snail.
