Christ: Ascension -- Virgin Mary and Apostle Peter, both with joined hands raised, stand below hilltop with footprints. Rays emanate in sky. Scene in decorated initial A.
Floreate margins with vinescroll terminating in masks. Two medallions. Medallion in right margin enclosing nude man, wearing wreath, holding club in raised left hand, seated sideways on pig (Scene, Burlesque: Riding). Medallion in lower margin enclosing owl, feeding on bleeding, headless bird.
