Within room, Evangelist Luke, nimbed, writes in book with pen held in right hand. He holds inkpot in left hand. He is seated beside writing table surmounted by open book. Ox, partially visible, is beside desk.

Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- In top right corner of border, God, cross-nimbed, holding tripartite globe surmounted by cross in left hand, raising right hand in blessing, appears amid clouds emitting rays of light that fall upon Virgin Mary, nimbed, seated on pillow beside altar with book. She inclines her head and raises joined hands. Archangel Gabriel, kneeling on one knee, holds scepter in left hand and points to Virgin Mary with right hand. Vase with lilies and dove of Holy Ghost are between them.
