Boniface IX, inscribed DOMINUS PERINUS DE TOMATIELIS DE NEAPOLI DEINDE BONIFACIUS NONUS PAPA, wearing triple-crowned papal tiara, with right hand raised to breast, below bear. At his feet, two bears touch his garment with their forepaws. Below text, motto of Pope Boniface IX, INCIPIT PRINCIPIUM MALORUM IPOCRESEIA HABUNDABIT. Folio numbered "XVI" at upper margin. Miniature beginning the Vaticina text.
