Column, right: Moses: Passover -- Among seven Israelites surrounding round table, three wearing hats or veiled headgear, five holding staffs, and three extending hands to sacrifical lamb spread on the table; the foremost two hold morsels of food to mouth (feasting). Scene in room with wooden ceiling, two windows and tiled floor. Illustration for First Nocturn in Matins for Maundy Thursday. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing hats, emerging from clouds, both holding scrolls inscribed CO(M)EDE(N)T AGN(US) and INTENDE A(N)I(MA)E.
