Pachomius of Egypt: Scene, led to Baptism -- At left, Pachomius of Egypt, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, partly kneeling, with both hands holding basket, looking up toward nimbed, flying angel, with right hand lowered toward him and with left hand extended toward building.
At right, within the building, bishop, nimbed, mitered, wearing vestments, with left hand holding crozier and with right hand extended over large basin of water. The bishop accompanied by group of seven tonsured monks (most with only heads visible), wearing monk’s habits.
