Column, right: Holy Women: buying Spices -- Among three Holy Women, veiled, holding covered vessels, two are in conversation with each other, one extending left forefinger, one extending left hand to chair on which is seated man, wearing hat, with right forefinger raised toward them, feet below draped counter spread with covered vessel, two jars and round objects, possibly coins. Scene in room with patterned background and tiled floor. Illustration in Lauds for Holy Saturday. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberries, inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing hats, emerging from clouds, both holding scrolls inscribed CHRISTUS RESURGENS and TERCIA DIE RESURGENS (left).
