Bust of soldier wearing helmet and armor enclosed ininitial U decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; in upper margin, man, prone, hands extended to gold ball. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on twenty-third Sunday after Pentecost.
