Within initial C, Jerome is flanked by Chromatius of Aquileia and Heliodorus of Altino, both wearing miters, all against background of gold, decorated with geometric and foliate ornament.
Beginning of Tobit, Prologue.
Within initial T, Tobit, raising right hand, stands against background of gold.

Within initial T:
1) Tobit: murdered Jew -- Tobit carries body over right shoulder.
2) Tobit: Anna bringing Kid -- Tobit, eyes closed, right hand raised to head, reclines in bed. Next to bed are Anna, holding kid, and two men, one holding right index finger to lips and touching right hand of Tobit with his left hand.
3) Tobit: questioning Raphael -- Raphael, with pearled nimbus, holding staff in right hand is flanked by Anna and man. All are before Tobit, seated on bench both hands raised.
4) Tobias: taking Fish -- Raphael, with pearled nimbus, holding staff in right hand, extends left hand to Tobias, standing next to water, holding in his hands, arms of hybrid fish, partially out of water. Dog is at left.
Scenes, within initial partially formed by winged fantastic animal, against background of gold, decorated with geometric and foliate ornament and architectural frames.
