Christ: Presentation -- Beneath canopy, three-quarter figures of Joseph the Carpenter accompanying Virgin Mary, veiled with wimple, with both hands extending nude Christ Child above draped altar or table, behind which stand female attendant, wearing turban-like headdress, man and Simeon (partly visible), bearded, with hands extended.
Scene in room with windows in far background.
Miniature for beginning of None of Hours of the Virgin.
Margins inhabited by bird, possibly goldfinch, two flies, butterfly, and peacock and scattered with naturalistic flowers and plants including forget-me-not, strawberry, viola and speedwell; against gold background.
