Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, with crossed nimbus, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus. Flanking Him are Dysmas and Gestas, bound to crosses. Mary Magdalen, nimbed, embraces base of Christ's cross. To left are Virgin Mary, veiled, swooning in arms of Evangelist John, and Holy Women, all nimbed. To right are soldiers and three horsemen, including Longinus the Soldier, holding lance, and Longinus of Jerusalem, wearing hat, pointing to Christ.
