Christ: Presentation -- Anna the Prophetess, wearing turban-like headdress, holding basket containing three birds with right hand and candle with left hand stands beside Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple. She is before draped altar, extending right hand to nude Christ Child, extending both hands to her, looking back over His left shoulder at Simeon, wearing conical hat and hood, standing behind the altar. He holds Christ Child with both hands. Joseph the Carpenter, with joined hands, kneels at right, before the altar.
Scene in vaulted interior with leaded windows, framed by arch supported by two columns.
Miniature and text surrounded on three sides by gold frame terminating with floreate ornament. Margins decorated with border of rinceaux, foliate and floreate ornament, including strawberry.
