Virgin Mary: Visitation -- Elizabeth, nimbed, wearing wimpled veil, kneels, with right hand raised and left hand extended to mantle of Virgin Mary, nimbed, with right hand raised, accompanied by Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, and female attendant. Scene in hilly landscape with city in background. Decorated initial D inhabited by duck. Miniature and text within architectural frame of two columns supporting pediment.
