Scene, Sports and Games: Chess -- Within gold frame, chessboard with six red and gold pieces on squares lettered A and B for four moves; diagram numbered 141. To right of board, initial C decorated with scrolling foliate infilling and mask and with foliate ascender on which is perching fantastic bird and descender on which are perching dragon-like hybrid animal and bird, possibly jay.
