Solomon: expounding Proverbs -- Solomon, crowned, seated on bench, holds switches in right and book in left hand. Before him is seated youth, tonsured, partially nude, holding blank tablet. Behind youth is monk, tonsured, holding open book with pseudo-inscriptions.
Scene on gold background within initial P decorated with human head sprouting foliate ornament. Stem forms marginal extender, base partly formed by hybrid animal.
