Virgin Mary and Christ Child: Type, Suckling -- Two angels, hovering, hold crown above Virgin Mary, decorated nimbus, seated on throne decorated with patterned fabric, with right hand holding left breast toward Christ Child, nude, cross-nimbed, standing on her lap, extending right hand to touch her breast. They are flanked by kneeling angel playing harp and by female donor, wearing black headdress, kneeling with joined hands raised.
Scene in architectural setting of church with lancet windows and rib vaults decorated with patterned fabric.
In lower margin (bas-de-page), rearing (rampant) lion faces wild man, dressed in leaves, holding club and human-faced shield.
In right margin, bird pierces breast with beak.
Margins decorated with foliate border of acanthus leaves, flowers, and strawberries.
