New Testament:
Christ: Purging of Temple -- Man wearing hood, with basket containing bird on back, man holding round object with both hands kneeling over basin (?) and man wearing knotted headdress, holding sack with left hand, are all before Christ, nimbed, with left hand on shoulder of man with the sack, raising scourge with right hand. Behind them is building with arched openings; draped altar is visible inside.
Fourth man, head lowered, added at later date, near right hand of Christ.

Old Testament:
1) Cyrus the Great: Proclamation -- Cyrus the Great, crowned, holding scepter with right hand, raising left hand, is seated on bench. Man, raising right hand, holding box or book with left hand, stands at right looking toward Cyrus. Temple is at right. Lamp burns in center of three arches over doorway. Inside, one of two men holds shovel (spade); the other bends over holding object with both hands.

2) Judas Maccabaeus: Cleansing of Sanctuary -- Judas Maccabaeus holding bannered spear with right hand, wears armor and helmet. He indicates building. Atop the building man holds object at roof. At entrance to the building mason, wearing headdress, seated on stool, raises mallet with right hand and with left hand holds chisel on stone. In the building, one of three men, arms raised, pulls on rope; another walks with holding block on right shoulder; and the third kneels on ground holding hammer to block.
