Christ: Nativity -- With curtain drawn above, Virgin Mary, scalloped nimbus, veiled, reclines in draped bed with round object (gilded), possiby globe, in right hand. With left hand she gives second round object (gilded), possibly globe, to Christ Child, scalloped nimbus, half nude, lying in manger and glancing toward her.
Joseph the Carpenter, wearing pointed hat, sits with tau-staff in right hand and left hand raised, and glances toward the Child.
Ox and ass in background.
Scene against gold background within Gothic architectural frame decorated with abstract ornament.
