Initial S enclosing:
1) Antiquitates Judaicae: Scene, Aristobulus III before Herod the Great -- In upper left register, woman, possibly Alexandra, stands with right hand on right shoulder of Aristobulus, holding bowl (?) with right hand, extending left hand to left hand of Herod, crowned, raising right hand. Mariamne, crowned, arms crossed at waist, stands next to Herod.
2) Antiquitates Judaicae: Scene, Herod the Great reunited with Mariamne -- In upper right register, Herod, crowned, holds with his right hand, chin of Mariamne, crowned. Both are seated on draped throne.
3) Antiquitates Judaicae: Scene, Death of Mariamne -- In lower left register, Herod crowned, holding sword with right hand and raising left hand, is seated on bench. Mariamne, crowned, with joined hands raised kneels before him. Executioner, standing behind her holds sword at her neck. Three other men are in background.
4) Antiquitates Judaicae: Scene, Illness of Herod the Great -- In lower right register, Herod, crowned, nude, semi-reclines on draped bed. One of three men next to the bed extends right hand to left shoulder of Herod and right hand to his crown.
