Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, holds exposed left breast with right hand, toward mouth of nude Christ Child, rays as cross nimbus, seated on her lap supported by her left hand, raising His right hand to her breast. They are seated on canopied throne decorated with architectural ornament and with two statues of angels holding candlesticks. Two angels, one playing harp, the other playing lute, flank the throne.
