Half-figure of monk, wearing hood, raising left hand, enclosed in initial S decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; standing in center margin, woman wearing diadem (crown), left hand raised toward gold ball. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for 01.21, feast of Agnes of Rome.
