Christ: Deposition -- Two men, possibly Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea, nimbi of rays, wearing hats, each stand on ladder flanking cross, and hold arm of Christ, crossed nimbus, wounds visible, wearing loincloth. Crown of thorns hangs on right arm of Joseph of Arimathea. Body of Christ is supported by two men, one nimbed, possibly Evangelist John; Mary Magdalen, nimbed, raising His feet to her face, crouches next to covered jar. Christ is surrounded by five Holy Women, nimbed and veiled with wimples, one with joined hands, another extending both hands to Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple, arms raised, sitting in front of His body. Pincers and three nails are on cloth on ground in front of Mary. No text related to this minature.
