Christ: Miracle of raising Lazarus -- Apostle Peter, scalloped nimbus, accompanies Christ, cross-nimbed (?), extending right hand in blessing and gathering garments in left hand, before Lazarus, nude, partly draped with shroud, with joined hands raised, emerging from ground beside shovel. Behind them, woman, scalloped nimbus, wearing wimpled veil, possibly Mary or Martha of Bethany, with joined hands raised, stands surrounded by three men, wearing hats, one with his back turned. Scene in landscape with trees and crenellated wall of building in background. Borders decorated with gold scrolling foliate and floreate ornament against blue background. Miniature for Vespers beginning of the Office of the Dead.
