Pentecost -- Virgin Mary, nimbed is seated, holding on lap with both hands, open book with illegible inscription. She is flanked by fourteen apostles, nimbed, some only nimbus visible. One sits on faldstool; three sit on bench; two are orant; one holds book; one raises joined hands. All look up towards dove of Holy Ghost, wings spread amid rays descending from gold cloud above.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by hybrid wild man with face on abdomen; half-figure of man amid foliage, wearing conical hat, holding right hand in blessing. Text and miniature framed on three sides by gold bars decorated with flowers and vines.
