Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, crossed nimbus, wearing diaphanous loincloth, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus INRI, and with suppedaneum. Longinus pierces right side of Christ with spear. At left are Evangelist John, nimbed, beside Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, left hand on breast, swooning. At right, one of three men, probably Longinus of Jerusalem, indicates Christ; another wearing knotted headgear holds shield. The two thieves, arms up and over arms of tau crosses flank Christ in background.
Margins decorated with border of floreate rinceaux.
