Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, rays as cross nimbus, with crown of thorns and wearing short loincloth, is affixed with three nails to cross with illegible titulus. He is flanked above by sun and crescent moon. At left Holy Woman, veiled, and Evangelist John stand behind Virgin Mary, veiled, with joined hands. All are nimbed. At right stand five soldiers, two only tops of helmets visible. One holds spear; another indicates Christ with right hand, possibly Longinus of Jerusalem.
Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament. All enclosed in architectural frame.
