Miniature:
Pentecost -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple, with joined hands raised sits flanked by eleven apostles, some only nimbus visible, some seated with joined hands, four looking up, two kneeling, one orant. In a mandorla composed of multi-colored concentric circles, dove of Holy Ghost, crossed nimbus, hovers amid rays and tongues of fire descending to Virgin Mary and apostles below.
Scene in vaulted, stone interior with windows.
Left margin:
Trinity: Mercy Seat -- God, crossed nimbus, wearing imperial crown, seated on throne, holds cross. Christ, crossed nimbus, wearing crown of thorns and short loincloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed to the cross with three nails. Dove of Holy Ghost hovers near head of Christ.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including strawberries and inhabited by half-figure of angel, wearing fillet, holding harp, emerging from flower.
