Margins with five vignettes in architectural framework (described top to bottom):
1) Arnulphus of Metz, wearing bishop's cross-inscribed miter and cope, stands with right hand raised holding crozier in left hand.
2) Apostle Bartholomew, nimbed, stands holding knife in left hand.
3) Louis IX of France, nimbed, crowned, wearing ermine-trimmed robe decorated with fleur-de-lis, stands holding scepters (?) in each hand.
4) John Baptist: Beheading -- Executioner raises sword held in both hands above John Baptist, nimbed, blindfolded, wearing garment of skins, kneeling with joined hands. Beside them is Salome, holding charger.
5) Zodiac Sign: Virgo -- Young woman sits holding sheaf of wheat. Scene in landscape.
