Christ: Pietà -- Christ, rays as cross nimbus, wearing short loincloth, bleeding from wounds, semi-reclines on lap of Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple. She holds His head with right hand and His left arm with her left hand. Behind them is cross. They are flanked by Evangelist John, nimbed, and Mary Magdalen, nimbed, holding ointment jar with both hands.
