Christ: Entombment -- Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, wearing pointed caps, lower body of Christ, cross-nimbed, beardless, on shroud into sarcophagus, before Virgin Mary, with clasped hands, and Holy Woman touching His breast. Both, nimbed and veiled, stand in front of nimbed Evangelist John.
Scene with gold background, within decorated initial C embellished with filigree in spandrels. Margins decorated with foliate extensions and terminal of dragon, and inhabited by dog in the upper margin.
