Holy Women: at Sepulcher -- Of three Holy Women, two are veiled, all extend one or both hands toward empty sarcophagus, lid ajar. Angel standing next to the sarcophagus, gestures with right hand toward the Women, and indicates the sarcophagus with left hand. Initial I in upper right corner of miniature. Border of foliate scroll as frame, enclosing text. Text is first lesson, from first nocturn for Matins on Easter Sunday.
