Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, nimbed, with crown of thorns, wearing short loincloth, His wounds bleeding, is affixed with three nails to cross. At left are two Holy Women, veiled, one with joined hands, Evangelist John, all looking toward Christ, and Virgin Mary, veiled, wearing wimple, with joined hands, looking away from cross. All are nimbed. At right are soldiers holding spears looking toward Christ, and Longinus of Jerusalem (?) wearing hat, indicating and looking toward Christ.
Foliate initial D decorated with thistle. Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament including including strawberry, and inhabited by fantastic bird, and two birds, one possibly pigeon.
