Fronto of Nitria: Scene, preaching outside City -- City with towered entrance and crenellated wall enclosing buildings. At right, Fronto of Nitria, nimbed, mitered, wearing abbot’s habit, with right hand holding tau-staff and with left hand raised toward group of tonsured monks, all wearing monk’s habits, seated, the foremost with right hand raised to face.
At far right, tonsured monk, wearing monk’s habit, raising both hands, before building, possibly monk’s cell.
