Enclosed in initial Q, bust of man, extending right hand into center margin, possibly supporting back-turned, cleric, tonsured, standing next to collect. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on 5.3, feast of the Invention of the Holy Cross.
