Decorated initial P enclosing half figure of possibly Pope Leo X, nimbed, possibly wearing papal tiara, with right hand holding possibly scepter and with draped left hand holding book, beginning First Sermon in Vespers for Sunday in the Octave of the Acsension. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, emerging from clouds, one with right hand holding scroll inscribed ILLE ME CLARI(FICABIT) from John 16:14, and the other with left hand holding scroll inscribed QU(A)E VENTURA from John 16:13 (left).
