Psalm 143 (Vulg., 142) -- David, wearing crown, stands behind soldier, wearing armor, holding in both hands spear with which he transfixes Absalom, wearing crown, dressed in armor, holding spear in both hands. Behind him is group of soldiers, wearing armor and holding spears. Ground strewn with spears. Scene in landscape setting.
Margin is decorated with foliate border, including thistles, cornflowers, and grapevines.
